Meeting with Armenian State Pedagogical University students
As you know Audio Visual team continue a series of meeting with different universities students in a framework of human trafficking issues public awareness company. Continuity, consistency demonstrating, training and dissemination of knowledge these are main ways of achieving the proposed vision.
Are you a professional and well aware of your work? This is not enough when we are talking about Arzuman Harutyunyan. President of “Association of Audio Visual reporters” NGO, also editor and social advertising specialist choose young students as a main target group of high risk and also as a group of specialists who will cover trafficking issue in their future work. So as experience sharing tool was chosen “Creator face to face to social issue” and “Prevention of human trafficking and exploitation through social advertising” thematic master-classes.
At the meeting were present students of Social Pedagogy, Sociology, Pedagogy, Social work and Psychology faculties of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan. Master-classes were built by “Promotion – Sense perception – Weighing” system.
At Promotion phase students were offered to identify problem, to define it and to try to find ways of its promotion in society. Arzuman Harutynay could turn the discussion from just a question-answer format to a deep philosophical communication.
At sense perception phase participants learnt about bases of social advertising and its specifics, the use of symbols and specific rules of working with trafficking victim.
At the third weighing phase participants were often to find their professional ways of working and compare it with Arzuman Harutyanyan’s works.
Meeting’s organizers were Student Council of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan and Professor Gayane Markosyan University’s Social Work lecturer.
