On the 15th of August «Art Sight» LLC jointly with RA Ministry of Sport and Youth affairs has implemented already traditional “Knowledge crusade against trafficking” project’s first phase.
The project consists from two phases. First one implemented as a workshop was aimed to transfer necessary knowledge to all participants trough work with experts who made their presentations. The second and final phase of the project will take place in the Brain Ring game format.
During the workshop participants had an opportunity to learn about trafficking phenomenon and specifics of the fight against human trafficking in Armenia and in the World, details of labour exploitation through the expert’s presentations. Also participants learnt about Stepanakert’s historical and cultural past, as well as about role of the Armenians in international migration processes.
The workshop was held in warm and interactive atmosphere; participants were very interested in subject and were discussing with experts and asking different questions.
Lieutenant Colonel and Head of anti-trafficking division of RA Police Department Robert Grigoryan told participants what a human trafficking and exploitation; also he presented legal nuances of fight against trafficking.
Stepanakert’s city hall worker and journalist Nazeli Avagyan presented to workshop’s participants Cultural and Historical past of the city. In his turn expert of migration Armen Melqonyan told about Armenian Diaspora and role of Armenians in international migration processes.
