World day against trafficking in persons: Child trafficking
Child trafficking exists.
July 30 is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons. In honor of this day here are two practical ways that you can take a stand against trafficking:

2) Give a gift to end human trafficking
When you give, you create an instant impact by bringing freedom to more lives like Chan*. Chan’s family was deceived by a recruiter offering families compensation if they allowed their children to travel for a summer job. But instead, Chan was sold across borders into a forced begging ring.
One day during a police raid, Chan was assisted to safety along with a group of children forced to beg in a popular tourist area. He was taken to our Child Advocacy Center where he was cared for by an A21 social worker. We then assisted his return back to Cambodia and helped him reunite with his family. In tears, his mother said, “I didn’t know if I would ever see you again”.
