Children in Thailand stand up for Freedom – Isn’t it time that we do too?

On the 23th fo November The Chai Lai Orchid invited minority children from the surrounding area that are most at risk of child labor to enjoy a day to just be kids.
The children painted letters of the word FREEDOM, swung at and enjoyed the surprises of a piñata for the first time, washed a baby elephant in the river (even the little ones that were afraid of big elephants couldn’t resist).
All the kids received gift bags which had goodies like children’s hygiene products (soaps, toothbrush, toothpaste etc), notebooks and writing/art materials, small toys, children’s multi-vitamins.
The children and parents had lunch and sweat treats, and we all enjoyed a day of light-hearted fun.
The entire team of ECSW extends heartfelt gratitude to Daughters Rising & The Chai Lai Orchid for their extraordinary show of solidarity and support to End Child Slavery Week and for raising funds for the cause to help create a better future for all the children trapped in slavery across the world.
