Creator face to face to social issue: Arzuman Harutyunyan’s master-class

On the 8th of June in a framework of the 13th International festival of short films “One shot” film director and filmmaker, member of festival’s jury and president of “Association of Audio-Visual reporters” NGO Arzuman Harutyunyan presented his master-class “Creator face to face to social issue: Arzuman Harutyunyan’s” master-class.

During the presentation speaker represented whole way of dedicated to trafficking PSA creating, from initial idea, right way of working with customer, proper use of trafficking term and symbols, up to broadcasting.

Master-class was held in warm interactive atmosphere. Presentation was structured the way, so the audience could take part in all stages of PSA creation from spreading information about trafficking term, up to competent coverage and prevention features.

PSAs shown during the master-class were made by “Association of Audio-Visual Reporters” NGO during different years and projects, especially “Anti-trafficking Information Platform in Armenia” awareness rising and journalists competence training project. Each video was discussed and analyzed.

On the 3th-10th of June the 13th International festival of short films “One shot” was held in Erevan.

“ONE SHOT” International Short Film Festival is an open cinema platform. It was founded in 2003. Founder president is Gagik Ghazareh. Symbol of the festival represents three dimensional statue of ancient rock carving from Geghama Mountain which is 5000 years old. Competition has three categories: “ONE MINUTE – ONE SHOT”, “SHORT FILMS” and “CINEMA WITHOUT BORDER”. “ONE SHOT” promotes independent film production in Armenia. Submitted films have no limitations in shooting format. Films can be shot on cell phones, film and HD cameras.

This year the number of festival’s participants was about 31 countries: they were from Armenia, USA, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Brazil, Germany, Dania, Taiwan, Tunis, Turkey, Iran, Spain, Island, Italy, Poland, Canada, Haiti, South Korea, Japan, United Kingdom, Mexico, Switzerland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Senegal, Syria, Ukraine, Finland, France etc.
